The Super Knight uses the standard IC engine and Eaton 7 setup, the output from the Eaton is chained to a layshaft and then on to the axles. Layshaft and axles are all keyed and utilise taper lock sprockets. Chain is Renold 1/2″ pitch simplex. Axle boxes are takeup units and are sprung with heavy load die springs. All three drive chains are independently adjustable.
