Description

SCAMP 7¼” Kit. Designed by Colin Edmondson. The Scamp is a small 7¼” gauge sit on locomotive, ideal for all miniature railway use.

Measurements:

Length: 913mm | Width: 490mm | Height with slatted seat: 713mm | Height without slatted seat: 590mm | Weight: 80kg approx | Minimum radius: 2m | Load: 2 tons on 1 in 100

Specifications:

Petrol engine | 2x 800 watt electric motors, one to drive the wheels, one used as a dynamo | Hand operated braking | 5″ diameter wheels | 5-8mph

Scamp also has the option to be fully electric by removing the engine and generator unit. The optional battery box can be dropped in. Conversion takes less than 5 minutes. Battery operation is ideal for indoor or quiet miniature railway use.

For easy transport the loco breaks down into sub assemblies.
