Small guards flag set, smaller than our other flag sets.
Guards flags are used to signal to the driver from the rear of the train. This set is smaller than our standard set and is suitable for guards where storage space is limited. Although smaller, they are vibrantly coloured and easily visible.
Sold as a set of two, one red and one green flag included.
This small guards flag set are also small enough to be a little treat for the youngest railway enthusiasts among us. For use at their own home railways or when visiting railways to feel the part.
A guard’s flag is traditionally used by waving the correct colour to signal the train operator to start or stop a train. Usually used alongside a whistle, flags are especially helpful when your guard is sat way back from the driver.
